Hi Again:  I have been away for a little while I see that I haven't been missed  lol.  I know my sisters missed me and I know Nancy has missed reading my blogs so here I am again.

I have been doing a little traveling this past week and I have some photos to share.  I went to San Antonio Texas over last weekend to spend it with my Granddaughter Abbie she turned 7 on the 13th and so I traveled 615 miles to be with her and her dad.  Chet (my son) had a birthday in September so I took him and his family to dinner on Friday night to one of the biggest Golden Corrals that I have ever been too.  He chose Golden Corral because of the great food that this particular one has.  He was right it was great.  I had a wonderful spinach salad and steak and shrimp for dinner.  We got up Saturday and drove to Corpus Christi to go to the beach.  We rode the ferry boat to San Padro Island and played in the water on a beautiful beach there.  Abbie had the bad fortune of being stung by a jellyfish and had a melt down she just knew she was going to die from it lol.  The top photo was taken just before /Abbie got stung the 2nd is the jellyfish that stung her, and the third is on the ferry boat at San Pedro Island we had a great time.  Then we went to Chuckie /cheeses had dinner then onto Starbucks for a frappacino then back to San Antonio.  Abbie said she had the best birthday ever and that's all that matters.  I got home on Sunday evening and we left out on Tuesday morning for Baton Rouge Louisiana to pick up a travel trailer.  We drove from 6am till 1:20am  19 hours in one day don't think I want to do that again lol.

These are from the trip to Louisiana the first is the sunrise around Pine Bluff, Arkansas the 2nd is the Mississipi Bridge and the thrid hmmm well it's a sign I saw at a restraunt in Baton Rouge I thought the name of the restraunt was interesting lol.  Anyhow tomrrow I'm going to Little Rock for a doctors appointment so a little more traveling lol.  So to say the least I haven't been doing much sewing this week but I did manage to finish all the blocks for my daughter in laws quilt and start attatching them together.  Maybe Friday I can sew some more.  Anyhow I'm going to leave you with this thought for the day and go start dinner.
Can we control the Government?  Are we really the one's in charge or do they just let us think that we are?  Are we allowing them to tell us who to vote for?  /These are just a few things that I have been pondering today since I watched the debate from last night just wonder what would happen if we said enough is enough and you all go to minuim wage and try to make it like the rest of us have to do.  We would then see change and it would be like lightening fast.
